Mission Statement:
“We are dedicated to eliminating tobacco use through the
collaborative effort of a broad-based community coalition whose members plan,
coordinate, and implement prevention, cessassion, media and policy-related
activities directed at tobacco issues.”
Services:

Provide training for education

Technical assistance to grassroots organizations

Mini grant opportunities

Campaign for smoke-free restaurants
Goals:
- Educate the community on the hazards of tobacco.
- Hold community programs to reduce tobacco use by
adults and youth.
- Develop and implement smoke-free workplace outreach
campaign to large, medium or small workplaces.
- Engage and educate community leaders and decision
makers about tobacco related initiatives and issues.
- Sponsor educational forums, workshops and interactive
community television shows on key tobacco control issues.
Funding:
Council on Chemical Abuse through funds provided from the
Pennsylvania Department of Health's allocation of Big Tobacco Settlement.
