Kids Against Pressure (KAP)

The Kids Against Pressure (KAP) program is an after-school program geared for Latino Students in grades 1-5 and is held weekly throughout the school year.


Goals:
To build upon the following issues:

  • Self-esteem
  • Cultural awareness
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Media awareness
  • Peer pressure awareness
  • Enable students to develop a positive outlook on their future

 

Services:
After-school educational and social activities

Funding:
This program is funded by Berks County Mental Health/Mental Retardation through Service Access and Management.
