Kids Against Pressure (KAP)
The Kids Against Pressure (KAP) program is an after-school program geared for
Latino Students in grades 1-5 and is held weekly throughout the school year.
Goals:
To build upon the following issues:
- Self-esteem
- Cultural awareness
- Conflict resolution skills
- Media awareness
- Peer pressure awareness
- Enable students to develop a positive outlook on their
future
Services:
After-school educational and social activities
Funding:
This program is funded by Berks County Mental Health/Mental Retardation
through Service Access and Management.
